Eupheus school life centres on a broad curriculum designed and delivered by a highly qualified and experienced teaching staff. A range of after school activities and clubs extend timetabled subjects and games with every kind of interest and activity.
All sporting activities are valued and we offer a programme that includes and encourages every level of ability. Our music programme mirrors this in breadth and diversity.
Our curriculum is tailored to the needs of the pupils and their future aspirations in the technological age. While the National Curriculum is a useful starting point, the curriculum is continuously evolving to ensure that every pupil is motivated, inspired and challenged. In addition to the core subjects of English, Mathematics and Science, we also include the teaching of Portuguese , History, Geography, Music, Art, Drama, Design and Technology, Physical Education and Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural Development.
Eupheus is striving to be an Apple distinguished school, enabling ICT to be incorporated within each area of the curriculum enhancing lessons, developing knowledge and understanding ensuring our children have the ability to become 21st century learners. Classes are small. An individual approach is offered to every child so that the learning style and pace is appropriate. At every level, we ensure that our pupils are independent learners, well – prepared for all learning. We aim to ensure that all our children:
- enjoy learning in a happy and safe environment and feel valued
- actively develop lively, enquiring minds where they question rather than merely accept
- constantly acquire knowledge and understanding which will aid their future learning
